Current Volunteer Opportunities (Unpaid Positions)
Data Entry, Answering phones needed for More than 1 year
Opportunity Description: We need someone who is comfortable learning to input names and addresses into a data base. This could be accomplished either at our office or your home if you have a computer and Internet connection. Phone answering would need to be done at our location. Our needs will be on-going, but we do not require that a volunteer make any long-term commitment or commit to a specific number of hours per week.
Total Number of Volunteers Needed: 2

Counselor needed for 6 to 12 months
Opportunity Description: We need volunteer counselors who have a Master's degree in counseling or psychology. This would be an ideal position for either a retiree or a Master's Intern. Our clients are all men, many of whom are dealing with difficult times in their lives, such as divorce, job loss, DUI, etc. We ask our volunteers for as litle as 1 hour/1 client per week, but could accomodate a student intern who needs more client-contact hours than that.
Total Number of Volunteers Needed: 2
